Christmas 2006

Once again like last year we decided to have our family gathering at our gallery. Except this year we were going to be two short. When our children grow up and move away from home they find in the real world you don't always get what you want and as adults you gotta do what you gotta do. This meaning Kendra, who moved away from home had to work Christmas Eve and wasn't going to be able to come to our family dinner. We all felt bad but understood that this is just the way life is.

But.......... alas ......... Kendra tricked us and gave us all the best Christmas present. Her wonderful boss realizing that she was the only one who wouldn't be with family on Christmas changed the work schedule so she could come home early Christmas Eve and surprise everyone in the family. How many bosses do you know that would do that?? :) It was a wonderful surprise to all ... well except to Grammie .... who knew she was coming ... Imagine that .... Grammie keeping a secret !!! ahahahhaha ...

The Greatest Gift ever given to a parent is sitting there over the Christmas Holiday just watching their children and grandchildren laugh and play and hugs and kisses. You can ask for nothing more.

Just like the kids, one wouldn't cooperate and wear his hat !!!

Not sure why this is the only picture of the food but what a beautiful fruit tray Casey made.

And then the Chaos begins :)
